Strategic Hospitality, owned by brothers Benjamin and Max Goldberg, is a Nashville-based hospitality company shaping the city’s dining landscape by continuously introducing innovative, one-of-a-kind concepts.

Properties Include:

  • Kisser, a brick-and-mortar location of Chef Brian Lea and Leina Horii’s well-followed pop-up concept, is a casual restaurant serving Japanese comfort food.

  • Locust, a fun and easy-going hangout centered around dumplings, hand-cut noodles, and shaved ice.

  • The Country Club at The Band Box, a 9-hole miniature golf course that doubles as a public art showcase and a fun form of entertainment in the right field of the Nashville Sounds’ First Horizon Park.

  • Henrietta Red, a convivial barroom and restaurant offering seasonal contemporary cooking and an oyster bar in the heart of Germantown

  • Bastion, a cocktail bar and hangout in Wedgewood Houston

  • The Band Box, a 4,000 square-foot outdoor bar and restaurant located in the right field of First Tennessee Park, home of the Nashville Sounds

  • The Catbird Seat, an intimate, interactive and chef-run restaurant

Strategic Hospitality is a Nashville-based hospitality company owned by brothers Benjamin and Max Goldberg. Founded in 2006, the company has created various concepts that have contributed to the fabric of the city’s dining culture. As native Nashvillians, Benjamin and Max strive to support the local community and preserve the kindness and hospitality for which the city is known. To date, the portfolio includes Merchants, The Patterson House, The Catbird Seat, The Band Box, The Country Club at The Band Box, Bastion, Henrietta Red, Locust, and newly opened Kisser.  The Goldberg brothers’ nomination for the 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2020 James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Restaurateur attests to their entrepreneurial drive, innovative ideas, and focus on exceptional customer service within each of their establishments.
